SUCCESSFUL YEAR OF NIS MUNICIPALITY OF PALILULA

We are at the end of 2014, which will be in Palilula recorded as a year of intensive project activities, neighborhood-successful international cooperation with municipalities in the region, socio-humanitarian activities, new investments, improvement of the work of the municipal administration for its high standards of service delivery to citizens - said the President Boban Džunić, at the annual press conference in Nis Media center. "The action plan and Strategy of development of Palilula Municipality until 2016, were the guidelines and guiding the work of our management, so that initiatives and demands of the citizens are successfully resolved.

We recognized the "Neighborhood Programmes" of the European Union as an opportunity to improve the relationship between local communities and strengthen the cultural, social and economic cooperation and the promotion of its resources in the region, particularly with Bulgaria. In the previous period, Palilula Municipality has made partnerships and projects with Bulgarian cities Svoge, Kustendil, Bobov Dol, Botevgrad and with the new project with the Municipality of Berkovica.

As municipal leadership, we achieved a very successful cooperation with the media. Our activities in the municipality were transparent and accessible to citizens through the municipal website and social networks-emphasized Boban Džunić.

At this conference, president Džunić announced the organization of New Year Ewe celebration of 2015 in Palilula. The program will be realized on December 31 in the "heart of Palilula" on Palilula ramp, near the market with the participation of numerous ensembles and groups that responded to the invitation of the Municipality to make beautiful entry to New Year for the people of Palilula and Nis. Applications for the performers are still active and the youngest will surely be delighted by Santa Claus with presents and photos next to a Christmas tree.
